The Fulbright U.S. Scholar program to Sub-Saharan Africa offers opportunities for scholars in a wide variety of academic disciplines to teach and/or conduct research. Beyond their specific research or teaching objectives, Fulbright Scholars to the region build lasting relationships that serve as the foundation for future collaborations through activities such as developing affiliations between institutions in the United States and Africa, or assisting in training and curriculum development. Applications are now being accepted for awards during academic year 2018-19.
